The Republic of Korea announces cruise tour resumption of foreign tourist entry and disembarkation tourism.

Starting October 24, 2022, the Republic of Korea starts normalizing cruise ship operations, including the resumption of cruise ship entry and foreigner disembarkation tourism, which had been restricted to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Starting October 24, 2022, cruise ships intending to enter a Korean port can enter the port in compliance with the quarantine and quarantine-related laws and regulations of the Republic of Korea as before the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the following additional considerations reflecting the COVID-19 quarantine guidelines must be observed.

<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]-->

A. All persons on board the cruise ship should wear a mask in the indoor communal space (performance hall, restaurant, etc.)

B. Health status check using Q-code should be conducted by submitting health status check before entry, using mobile app, etc.

C. Short-term staying foreigners who turn out to be COVID-19 confirmed or symtomatic should be quarantined on board (disembarkation is not allowed)

The additional requirements mentioned above may be adjusted (reduced or strengthened) in consideration of the future situation of COVID-19 resurgence.
